Guidelines and Policies

Boarding Time: Passenger must be on board vessel two (2) hours before departure time. Carrier reserves the right to cancel the ticket and accommodation of any passenger who fails to board the vessel thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled departure, and to issue the same accommodation to another person.

Rebooking Surcharges

Rebooking surcharge fees may apply.

Refund Policy / Surcharges fees

Ticket Expiry from date of departure : 1 month
Refund surcharge fees may apply.

 

In the instance that the trip is canceled due to weather conditions and/or preventive maintenance, full refund will be applied. Only the base fare is refundable (Full Refund). Other fees such as service fee and web admin fee are non-refundable under any circumstances. For a round trip ticket, if the departure trip was canceled and the passenger wishes to cancel the return trip as well, a full refund will be issued. However, to waive the surcharges for the return trip, Barkota will coordinate with the shipping company.

Please be advised that starting August 18, 2021, ONLY APORS and OFW can travel in and out of Cebu as per EO 137 and advised by Councilor Garganera until August 31, 2021.

For APOR and OFW passengers, please make sure that your ticket is being stamped for confirmation from the Philippine Coast Guard for it will be checked by the shipping line upon boarding. Thank you and keep safe everyone!
